We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the LxTerm app. The developer does not collect any data from this app. LxTerm is designed to connect directly from your device to the SSH servers you configure, without routing your sessions through our infrastructure.

1. Information Collection

LxTerm does not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports tied to your identity, advertising identifiers, or the contents of your terminal sessions.

The app stores the following data locally on your device to provide its functionality:

• SSH connection profiles (such as display name, host, port, and username)
• Passwords, private keys, and key passphrases in iOS Keychain
• Trusted SSH host fingerprints for TOFU (Trust On First Use) verification
• App preferences such as terminal theme, font size, and connection settings

This information remains on your iPhone or iPad under your control. We do not upload it to our servers or share it with third parties.

2. SSH Connections and Network Activity

When you connect to a remote server, LxTerm establishes an SSH session directly between your device and that server. Terminal input, output, and authentication traffic are exchanged only with the server you choose. We do not operate a relay, proxy, or logging service for your SSH sessions.

You are responsible for the servers you connect to and for securing your credentials and remote systems.

Since we do not collect any user information, we do not use your information for any purpose.

5. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Sensitive credentials are stored in iOS Keychain with device-only accessibility where supported. Host fingerprints and non-secret connection metadata are stored locally on your device. Because LxTerm does not transmit user data to developer-operated servers, there is no server-side storage of your SSH credentials or terminal activity.
